A Child In A Dinosaur Footprint
Updated June 25, 2019
Three-year-old Tommy examines a huge dinosaur footprint found in 1938.
These fossilized footprints were found in Glen Rose, Texas in 1938. The biggest of them, the hind footprints, were 97 cm (38 in) long.[1] It is unclear which exact dinosaur species made them, but it is undoubtedly one of the great sauropods (the large four-legged dinosaurs with long necks).[1] Pictured below is Tommy, the three-year-old son of one of the men engaged in the project of excavating the footprints and moving them to a museum.[1]
