Most Complicated Intersection In The World
Updated July 17, 2019
The interchange between I-105 and I-110 in Los Angeles is perhaps the most complicated-looking freeway intersection in the world.
The Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange in Los Angeles is a stack interchange between Interstate 105 and Interstate 110. It looks highly complicated, but is in reality quite the opposite. Actually not an intersection - where roads meets at the same level - but an interchange, the imposing size of the Judge Harry Pregerson Interchange permits traffic entering the interchange in all directions to exit in all directions, in most cases at full speed. In addition to regular car lanes, the interchange contains dedicated bus and carpool lanes, as well as a light rail line.
